Federal Allies News April 2012

April 2, 2012

Dear Members,

One of the most ardent supporters of Federal Allies Institute and our national federal contracting network is Management Concepts Press.  They generously agreed to produce and distribute Federal Allies News.  Our participants – both business and federal – welcome this support!

FAI success grows as we help more small businesses nationwide win federal contracts and grants.   FAI’s membership of federal contractors on a voluntary basis collaborates with firms such as yours to help you accomplish your federal procurement sales and relationship building goals.  FAI’s results-driven volunteers, or allies, have diverse experiences and backgrounds.  FAI’s unique role here in Washington, DC as the honest-broker among all players of the federal procurement community is recognized by the federal government including the U.S. Small Business Administration and 25 more military and federal agencies.

So what do you need an ally for?  We can help you get started.  We can help you win your next contract.  Or do you just need a friend in Washington?  We have many.  We’ll introduce you.

Find your answers at FAI’s Washington Days Conference May 13-15.

Among confirmed keynote speakers are the Obama Administration’s top small business advocate Dr. Winslow Sargeant, Chief Counsel for Advocacy, U.S. Small Business Administration and Kevin Boshears, Director of Office of Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

FAI conferences and events are goal-oriented and based on the precise needs of all registrants.  The goals of both entrepreneurs and agency officials are considered.    The result ensures ‘quality time’ among all attendees.   Entrepreneurs expect results and this is what we aim to deliver!

Search for FAI’s Washington Days Conference at FederalAllies.org.   FAI is an open organization that welcomes your ideas to further build this year’s conference agenda.   Which agencies and training (basic to advance) would you have us include?  What legislation are you following?  Let us know when you complete your online registration profile or simply call 571.217.0823.

I’m certain that you can relate – registration fees for a FAI event are comparatively and significantly lower than others because we are an association of mostly small businesses.  We make a real effort to lower the costs of doing business and that includes your trip to Washington.

Please register early to guarantee savings with American Airlines, Holiday Inn Capitol and AVIS.  Conference Scholarships are available from our generous members and sponsors who continue to give back to America’s small business community.
